Pastor Duane Clinker tesitifes in support of Marriage Equality as a part of the 8+ hours of testimony in the House Judiciary Committee hearings held on February 9, 2011 at the Rhode Island State House.

Pastor Clinker spoke on a panel of numerous faith leaders as a part of the Rhode Island Religious Coalition for Marriage Equality.

Brilliant argument from a man who knows how to balance reason and faith in his understanding of the Bible!

Its great if we can get a few theologians that can harmonize their text with enlightened society, however what the Bible says or doesn't say is irrelevant to the legality of the issue. Still, from a hearts and minds perspective it's nice to have people like him.

Thank you pastor, I appreciate you a million for standing up for Gays and Lesbians to be treated equal as our straight peers. I am a Secular Humanist. I don't believe in the existence of any divine/supernatural being, so I find that by throwing the Bible out and seeing that it in itself is full of contradictory and seeing that it only uses a circular argument to sustain that it is truth, should be enough to disqualified it as a legitimate source of information.
