  • I got a 20% discount on the frame because my front fork on the older madone started cracking.

Its total weight is 15.3lbs with the cages, peddals and my garmin.

The wheels are tubulars, I just wanted to try tubulars out since I have another set. So far in 5 weeks that I rode this bike for, I have never used the other set of wheels.

Also TCT carbon is made in China, the 6 series is still OCLV and handmade in USA, that is why I wanted the 6 series.

  • already has the yellow jersey paint scheme

  • Looks fast that you could use it as a time machine and win some Tour de Frances with it!!

  • @Colts0fan Bracket for a light I think.

  • Nice, doesnt get much better than that! What is that to the left of your bike computer?

  • Nice bike, I have the old 2007 Madone 5.2 SL which I enjoy very much. Enjoy that ride!!!!

  • @Powercomputer005 Components can always be upgraded. You are stuck with the frame. GO FOR IT!!

  • @traviswilliams that´s right. But I´m going to get a Madone too, but I just want it with the Sram Force and Race Lite Wheels, and the 5.5 got the same components, but she´s 600 € cheaper. But with the OCLV 2 frame I can order the H! geometry...damn what should I choose?? :D:D

  • @Powercomputer005 There is a difference. The 6.2 is built in the U.S.A. 5.5 is not. Worth the premium in my opinion.

  • Would adding carbon fiber handlebars decrease the weight noticeably or are the aluminum handlebars just fine? I'm thinking of retrofitting a Madone with an electric assist kit so the bike needs to be as light as possible to compensate for the motor and battery weight.

  • are those elite bottle cages?
