1983 television commercial for Natural Gas, featuring Sydney buried under snow with skaters frollicking on the harbor.
Very memorable commercial.

  • @gutley Not so funny now, is it? Record-setting tornadoes hitting metropolitian areas this spring, record heat (and it's only the first week of June!), record-setting wildfire in Arizona (still uncontained at this point), record-setting flooding in the mid-West. Yep, things are a'changing. Welcome to the new world! The world's weather patterns ARE changing. SO funny to see your inane comment from two years ago. Wanna retract that comment in light of the recent weather here in the USA?

  • Also, you might like to know that this was discussed on one of the Gruen Transfer's web exclusive videos.

  • 0:23 Isn't that an electric heater there?

  • It's never ever snowed in Sydney, EVER!

    ...since 1836.

  • so true!

  • "Is the pattern of the world's weather changing?" Ha Ha. Al Gore must have been in town. This ad of course dates from the days when the coming ice age was the big climate scare. Back when silly religions used to sacrifice a goat in a futile effort to influence the weather, rather than trying to sacrifice entire economies.
