I know about shooting straight from far away...the threads match up, both are 37 mm.

Don't tighten your lens all the way so sunshade like vig. loosen it a little more so the sunshade isn't showing. or take it off on a not so sunny day like the one in this video.

Thanks dude, I just got this lens and didn't notice that it was getting in the way. The only problem is the threads don't go that deep in the camera so asking to loosen it a bit is a lot. Or is that all cameras?

I'm not sure about your thread situation. What mm lens do you have? what mm is your camera with out a lens? If the mm's don't match up then you need a step up ring and thats why they don't go far into the camera. Btw don't use a fisheye if you are filming something that's far away.
