The pain does not ease at all. it gets more unbearable as time passes. Ive gotten 7 of these motherfuckers in me and the longest ive been w/ one is 3 weeks.

@SuperKingNapoleon Not necessarily. This is a clean procedure, not a sterile one because the GI tract is already home to plenty of bacteria.

we need to preserve sterility of the tube before inserting it. dont we? why did she curl the tube without wearing gloves?

At the end of this video she says "the discomfort eases after a little while" NOT TRUE. It is very uncomfortable and after a few minutes you may experience sore throat, and you may need pain medication, at least this is what happened in my case. I had to have that tube in me for 20 hours..It is not fun, but if you are a sport you'll get through it. The trick to insert this tube the best way is to do it quickly otherwise it can be a slow torture. Good Luck.

last couple of years the nurse... i'm not sure if she was... accidentaly insert the tube into my nasopharynx, cause me to gag. they pull it out harshly & in the end i choked, vomit lots of blood. i didnt even realise they actually did some mistake. i should have watch this video earlier. damn!!

@beaverfeaver12 the formula im using is called peptamen and im using a size 8 too :] i now have the hang of it but the first few days were bad. how long have you been on it for? ive been about 3 weeks.

@NoobsPwning yeah man im doing the same thing, the formula im using is called tolerx. But believe me after inserting this tube your self for a while you will get used to it. What size is the tube your inserting? luckily i am able to use a size 8 which is what they use for babies. so its not as painful =)

@jityr2 it only hurts during insertion. Removal is very easy and the first couple of times it feels very weird on your nose and throat but u get used to it
