  • Love this song and this fine lady. I saw her a number of times during the late 50's and early 60's. Country music is no longer the same as most people on here say.

  • Great post, even sad songs from this era make you feel good, too bad Nashville doesn't get it. Then again, those in charge always seem to be a step behind the rest of us.

  • One of Kitty's best songs. Ray Crisp was a fine fiddle player as well and was with Johnny and Jack, and Kitty for a while. Don't know what ever happened to him. This song is just ONE reason the Queen of Country Music is in the Hall of Fame and still so cherished!

  • I love these live films of the old country singers. They really were a family. I like looking at the people in the background and it includes old folks and lots of kids. No wonder our country was so strong back then. We were a united people.

  • i remember listening to albums of kitty wells many years ago and singing along with them, thats why i still remember the words of many of them especially her hit searching for his grave, beautiful song

  • A faboulous singer, and she looked lovely, I could listen to her 24 hours a day,...

good fiddle player too, arent we so lucky to have Youtube and the great people who take the time to put such great music and song on it...

  • This music is NOT gone forever! It's in our hearts, on our vinyl and on Youtube!

  • The song is good as well as the fiddle play - Ray Crisp. I meet him and Bill Phillips in 1962. Would like to meet Ray Crisp if it is possible as we both livei n the same state of NC.

  • This music is gone forever. How sad!
