MY STATS (heading into this week) Last Week: 3 - 5 Season: 33 - 29
HAW +24.5 (Win) UGA -15.0 (Loss) RICE -3.0 (Win) OSU -3.0 (Win) NIU -7.5 (Win) PSU -23.0 (Win) NTU +18.5 (Win) IDA +20.5 (Loss) VT +2.5 (Loss) HOU -13.0 (Loss)
Houston -13.0: Last week, SMU showed us why Tulsa was a trap game by exposing Tulsa's terrible defense and moving the ball at will. Houston's defense is not this bad; and while their offense may not be AS explosive, it is certainly close. Houston averages over 400 yards passing per game and should have no trouble at all moving the ball on a very bad SMU passing defense. This spread is off due to the fact that the public now has a new-found respect for SMU after keeping it so close on Tulsa; Houston should be giving up more than 13 points, and at this spread they are a very good bet to win this game by two touchdowns.

but i do have a question i thinking south carolina+3.5 is to good to be true. lsu just got knocked out of champ contension and s. carolina has been under playing this year. I see carolina coming home after two tough road games and winning outright against a depressed lsu team thoughts?
take penn state the wolverines have been a problem for them almost every year and now this year with a garbage michigan team i see penn state lowering the hammer to the tune of 59-0 :)
Those are some big movements. I do like N Ill, but they aren't a blowout team; they run the ball, play pretty conservatively... as such, 9.5 is a lot of points... I still like them, but that might be a pass. Penn State can only beat themselves. Do they look ahead to next week? Rest their starters too early? Very possible one of these occurs, but I have trouble seeing Mich keep it within 28. Good luck!
Southern Miss might run the ball well and control the clock, so Rice is no sure thing... but I like Rice to outshoot them. I liked it at -3, so I have to like it even more at -2.
