I love derbies, but that seems like a waste of good cars. Plus with head ons and door shots they were taking has anyone been hurt?
-
God I wish. Sante Fe was the BEST team
demo ever. It WAS a bigger track and had
quality drivers like Ary and Steven Scarboros.
They are the best ever.

JAN G stick to free 4 all demos and spectator
racing BETWEEN the demo racing. For Gods sakes no one else liked the jet pack damn thing. Stick with the Santa Fe roots for Howard T !!!

No, the clips are from Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL., the current home of the Tournament of Destruction (Google: TeamDemo).
Team Demolition Derby started at Sante Fe Speedway by Jan Gabriel. A few years after Sante Fe closed, Jan had an idea. He contacted some of the old Sante Fe teams, talked to the owners of Route 66 Raceway, and started the Team Demolition Association to keep the sport alive at its new home.

Was this the old Sante Fe Speedway?
Jan Gabriel crossed the final finish line January 10, 2010. We have uploaded all parts (A, B, & C) of his Team Demolition Derby Pilot. We will try to link all parts here.
