she does have the wrong look for tina but plays the part ok--As far as recast goes, I would have to say that karen witter (who I really didn't like all that much) was the best recast for Andrea

Kelli did good IMO. I think the look is wrong for Tina, but based on this and her work on RH I think she could play Tina well. And who knows? This is just one episode. I like that they tried something new with Tina.

@GETOSUPASTAR I think they were trying to cast an evil mini Viki, and she was going to probably hostile takeover the Banner or something. I don't know. She was SUCH a hot mess of a recast! Actually, they made that mistake a lot. They would recast Tina with little spitfires, but Tina was more luxurious. Even when she was 16 she was precocious.

@petercox9 yes i love tina's theme... that was my fav part... did they use it when she came back to the show last year? i dont recall... anyway, i didnt see kate as "butch" but she was no match for cord... (he was kinda cute tho huh? and that accent.... ah!:)

@GETOSUPASTAR yeah, i admired andrea evans' tina too. she had it going on. she had her own theme music when she would make an entrance and her exploits were always exciting. and of course, the one thing she really had going for her that i always admired was cord. i loved cord. he was so cute and the only woman he ever really loved was andrea evans' tina. yeah, he married kate sanders, but she was too butch for cord. hell, if he was going to marry a dude, it could have been me...lol.

@petercox9 well im just curious to see her to judge for myself that she was as bad as others say, but im with you AE is the only Tina... as a little gay black boy growing up she was truly everything i wished to be when i grew up! :) and yea off of this clip i can tell KM is totally wrong...just look at her hair, make up, outfit etc... tina was sexy and glamorous... she looks like a soccer mom in this clip. i wonder if it was the producers idea to make her unlike AE to make the character her own?
