Johnny Cash always brought a new edge to any song he did. This tired old song was done and done again by the Carter family and many others, but Johnny is a new element and brings that wonderful voice.

@Idarystad i was there but cant remember what john said, but the reason the audience cheered when Carlene finished was because she had forgotten the words of her verse a couple of times, & as it was being recorded for tv they were all so pleased it was right this time!
