The Proposition 2.1.mov

This four minute clip of the opening scene of the Australian movie "The Proposition" was a project at Expression College, and my idea was to do Foley for most of
the sound. Only a hand full were taken from a
sound library. Using cocunuts for the horses, sand
for footsteps, breath, a shovel, wraped sugar,
I tried to portrait the last century feeling in this
Autralian western has.
The original music was very deep, with an
underlined suffering that i tried to
copy with my original
compositions. With low, straight drums, slide
guitar, my thoughts were on desert, slave work,
struggle. With my voice, suffering and death.
