@MultiRosemarie1 not my boy.im 11,and have always been taught how to properly ride and jump a horse.my boy charlie,5 yrs,can jump 4'6 and has NEVER once had a stretched muscle,or ANYTHING that concerns health for that matter.some people do,but not everyone.most people, including me,want our horses to be hay.i couldnt care more if charlie ends up on cnn, because everytime i see his friendly, handsome, amazing face poking out of his stall,i already have everything i need or want in this world.

@NutmegForeverx i agree..when i enter competions,( im 11 ) with my 5 yr old charlie,i make sure he can do the jumps before i get on him and try.when ur 4'6 feet in the air,im not going to risk my horses safety,or my own,for that matter.

To thunderbird- here's my "critique": 1:17- rider leg slip, horse front end very low/uneven, 2:08, rider insecure, hitting mouth, front legs extremely low/uneven (scary!), 2:41, too much for horse & rider- both look too green for each other, horse's legs far too low even for such height, 3:07/3:08- yes, a touch low but each leg is still high- good jumper just not "pretty", 3:26- WOW- nice, 3:41, too much horse for rider; not hunter form but not dragging too far. 3:50- can I try that?? Nice horse

@miskaffon is the freejumping on at 3:08????

They are NOT pushed beyond their limits! I`m a showjumper, and I jump these heights with my horse. But before i do that, i make sure my horse can do it! As do all showjumpers, so dont you DARE say we push horses further than they can go! YOU need a lesson in horsemanship love. It does NOT hurt them! And if you dont believe me, look at Pat Parreli, Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks. They jump their horse, wether its on the ground or while riding!

I love watching horses jump. However, after studying them (yes, formal setting in college) and a life-long love of the animal and everything associated with them, I see in these pictures a mix of horses with good jumping skills and talents who are ridden appropriately and presented with reasonable obstacles. I also see over-jumped horses who do not have the skills to jump such high fences:one free-jump in particular drags a front leg in such a way that it is EXTREMELY dangerous to horse & rider
@flashchoc U say use english riders treat our horses Bad ??? well sorry but we dont have rodeos round here OR Slaughter houses the Horse in England is the Queens Favourite Animal so dont u dare say we treat our horses bad cause what HorseLover10672 said is True we treat our horses Like GODS !!!!
