Carlos Calaca has kidnapped El Presidente's daughter, and he plans to sacrifice her in order to merge the World of the Living with the World of the Dead.

Juan, a normal guy who stumbles upon a Legendary Luchador mask, must find the strength and courage to become the Hero he's always dreamed of being, and put a stop to this. Not for you, not for Calaca, but for El Presidente's daughter, the most beautiful girl in all the world.

Travel the mystical and mysterious world of Mexico as a down and out Luchador using the power of your two fists. Unlock techniques like the Rising Rooster, and open new areas and secrets.

But beware, for the Hero's journey is a treacherous one, and traveling between the multiple overlapping dimensions may have its own dangers... ALEBRIJES! THERE I SPOILED IT FOR YOU (LOOK IT UP).

Oh and you can turn into a chicken!
Oh and El Presidente's Daughter has a dead sister!
Oh, and you can play as this sister in CO-OP mode!

First off I would like to say thank you for making a Mexican themed game. Its beautiful.

That being said, my primary concern is the perception of skeletons in the game. In western culture the skeleton represents someone being dead and may even represent combing back from hell. In native american cultures and also today's modern mexico we see skulls as a representation of ourselves and in a much lighter sense. Skeletons represent fiestas, ancestors, and is quite often a comedic cheerful symbol.

I wouldn't worry too much about this. We plan to have friendly skeletons in the World of the Dead as well. They are not all evil :)

Dont worry dude. Im Mexican, and i live in Mexico, and you´re totally right. Skeletons are more like comedic symbol. But its because they represent in some way death (La calaca, la parca, la mas flaca, la catrina, etc.) And we (Mexicans) have the ability to laught of everything, even death.

Game look fantastic...all that it's missing for me are some fantastic animated cut-scenes and some really good voice-acting.
