  • In this video, a bible scholar and archaeologist who apparently has never published anything on Qumran or the Dead Sea Scrolls presents himself as an expert on this topic. Did Meyers have anything to do with the creation of the biased and offensive Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit being hosted by the N.C. Department of the Environment (DOE)? Did the DOE turn to him for advice? If so, did he honestly explain to them that the field is polarized between proponents of two radically opposing theories?

  • very special.

  • For charges that this exhibit misleads the public about the current state of research on the Dead Sea Scrolls and is biased towards a Christian perspective, with an important group of Jewish scholars being excluded, google the article entitled "The Ethics of Exhibition: Romancing the Scrolls," by Robert Dworkin.
