LOL only 150MB! And you cant use the SD card for apps! My 3 year old iPhone has 8GB which you can put as many apps as you want on. Thats over 53 times more space on a older yet better device.

the only phone offically called g2 is the g2 touch for tmobile UK which is the htc hero
the unlocked htc magic and rogers magic actually have more ram than the mytouch3g.

G2/myTouch 3g/HTC magic are all the same phone. In america it is more common as the G2 in canada HTC magic/GooglePhone.

cause the mobile market in the UK is much more larger than the mobile market in the U.S.
Euro + Asia markets are very interested in mobile handsets compared to the US. Especially since the most popular "smartphone" is the iPhone. And they are mostly all owned by teenagers under the age of 17.
Not to mention, the large manufacturers of these phones are either european(nokia) or asian (HTC). RIM (aka blackberry) is in canada. and Apple is US. So the release locations are as respected.
