TSW Today 1988

A clip from TSW today in 1988 presented by Sue King and John Doyle an interesting point to note is the TSW branding over the front and end titles and the set itself with its TSW logo hiding the monitor in the centre of the studio floor and the hill part of the logo along the back of the seating area and presenters desk.

By now (1988) TSW had become massively popular with the folk of the south west TSW Today trounced BBC Spotlight with the viewing figures often, TSW car stickers were everywhere and people had grown to love the logo that representing the hills of the south west with its sea/ river strip at the bottom.

Even today in 2010 some people still say in conversation "did you see on TSW last night" which in my view is the lasting legacy of TSW, not bad after 18 years since westcounty took over!
