Kris Kirstofferson wrote "For The Good Times" in 1970. That same year Ray Price had a number one country hit with the song (Columbia 45178).
Elvis recorded "For The Good Times on March 27,1972 at RCA's Hollywood Studios. This is take 5 taken from the import CD "Hillcrest Blues" on the Madison label.
**Correction on the opening credits I stated the song was recorded on March 17th instead of March 27th.**
