great tit, annoying little birds

Annoying birds, they tend to talk in the the early morning (before dawn till an hour after sunrise)

from what I can gather there's 2 loud birds which talk to each other (possible males) and a load of small song birds which just seem to sing for the fun of it.

if you know the types of birds it would be nice to find out as I never see them.

if its any help, I'm in south london and this was recorded during the spring.

hmmmm..sounds like warblers maybe,not sure..have you tried asking any bird lovers on youtube ?

quite a cheery note,and if it is in spring could be a migratory species..

according to my obesevers book of birds it sounds like a common house sparrow..hmm..let me know if you find out what species it is.

@TheFreeman35 I have been really curious about it. but after reading your comment then doing some searches I happen to come across a video which has a very similar call. I believe the bird is a great tit

It's a big tit, but the slide shows the blue tit.

Almost all singing birds you hear are male and they don't "sing for the fun of it" but to defend their territory and attract females. HTH.
