  • I'm stumped and out of ideas! Anyone else have any suggestions?

  • done... i've got a stampinmat underneath my surface (standard)... :)

  • Hmmm...how about your surface underneath your stamping? Maybe a mat underneath with a little "give" would help. Not so much give as foam, but not hard like countertop. It might help to experiment a little with that. Let us know!

  • it's a red rubber one, mounted (on wood)... i've tried scrubbing, stazon cleaner, special sanding block.. still no solid print :( (it's a scallop circle with "merry christmas" inside)

  • Are the stamps you're having trouble with red rubber or clear stamps? I had some clear stamps that I got before I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator (we use all rubber stamps, not clear ones) and I was always disappointed in the clear ones because the ink would bead up on the stamp and not cover well.

You might try scrubbing them with a red rubber eraser, too.

  • I know, i do stamp for a while allready (couple years) but just some stamps won't print right... :(

  • Also make sure that when you actually press down to stamp solid images that you press and HOLD. It just gives more time for the ink to transfer and soak in good.

  • i know these tips allready, BUT i still have some solid stamps which i can't get good for a nice solid print... PLEASE HELP...

  • Thank you!!!

  • Great tip! TFS!!!

    :o)
