@proceesdreamer Dorothy knew that that wouldn't work that is why she refused to leave...In those times Interracial relationships were frowned upon.His career would have been done for. Dorothy had a place of her own and memories of her romance with Bill and the burden of her sister, those kids and all those folks in her apartment drove her over the edge.
