i have a 9mm ACM and when the pain meds don't work or the shots or the other junk i am given i have smoked marijuana and i just can't believe how much it helps the nausea, headaches, the vomiting etc.. i only wish doctors and goverment would realize how marijuana can help those who truly need it.

That young lady said it all~ " Why should I be forced to take Pain Killers when it ( Medical Marijuana) works". She was maxed out on Pain Killers and this is the one thing that worked for her. A NATURAL medication. WAKE UP AMERICA, and do what is RIGHT for all the Katies and others in this world!

My 18 year old son is in prison for smoking pot, I was just diagnosed with c m1 and I am sure that he also has this. I had never heard of it, and my family doctor showed no concern about it~please wake up America, help and don't hurt us.

i think it should be allowed for people like this,narcotics mess you up way worse,what is wrong with this goverment,i have smoked before and i know for a fact that it does not mess you up like painkillers and alchol,what is wrong with this country:(

I have the same thing ( Chiari and SM) and have had 3 surgeries and waiting to go to New York for surgery for SM as well. Marijuana is the ONLY thing that stops me from vomiting! ( I go days without holding anything down, not to mention the unbearable pain from the pressure behind vomiting) I am on pain pills and the fentynal patch and it does NOTHING for my pain. PLEASE tell me WHY is it that the government will let me get hammered drunk, but not allow me the one thing that helps????

I have ACM and I was a marijuana smoker for over 6 yrs. But I quit, I became a college student. But I am still in a lot of pain and the headaches! I wish our government would legalize marijuana to those of us that would use it for a medical problem. The Government has stated many times that Marijuana can lead to other drugs, that is not so me or others. They need to understand what we go through, the pain that we feel. Because prescribed drugs can and do more damage to our bodies. LEGALIZE IT!!!
