I would have to agree with you regarding the remake of Friday the 13th. While many bash this movie, I feel that it is very strong on its own. Yes, the first four films are good but most of the following were trash. At least they got back to the basics with this one.

People knock this movie but I think it was one of the best Friday movies of all time. I hear that people say Jason setting traps is stupid, did you forget that he did this in part 2? This wasnt his first time setting traps for teenagers. Jason is more human than undead (or whatever he is) I dont judge movies on creative kills, lets face it, there are only so many ways to kill people! I did like the story, and I did like the way they ended the movie. Good job, lets see another

If you like the Friday movies and slasher movies in general, go see it, but for me it wasn't that good at all. Out of /10 I would give it a 4/10.
