I think Buck did a great job with the solo in this song. Watching the video, I see that he's totally riffing within the melody of the song. That's okay in my book. He doesn't have to be a virtruoso (hope I spelled this right...if not, you understand!) to make this song really rock. REM is a band that gets you with smart, melodic,songs. Michael knows how to touch an emotion by using pin-point accurate lyrics. That's what's great about the band. So stop comparing their work to others!

GREAT song by a great band, but damn, back then I had no idea that Stipe was gay. I should have just seen this... embarrassing.
BUT, this is worth buying and/or watching because of Peter's excellent performance on it! Nice!

For whatever reason, it's kind of weird to me seeing/hearing someone playing a Rickenbacker on this song. Looks like they're having fun with it in any event.
