This is my Rendition of Stars sung by the Les Miserables character: Inspector Javert - who was originally played by Roger Allam in the Original London Cast Recording and Terrance Mann in the Original Broadway Cast Recording. I apologize for some of the sound glitches. I don't think my thirty dollar mic can handle itself when I sing Forte.
Your humble vocalist and Composer,
Daniel P. Collins
"Keep singing. Keep inspiring."

  • it started off skechy, but it really grows on you. good job.=)

  • @ManBig4 Thanks! Considering the fact that I'm more of a Lyrical Tenor I reckon it turned out alright! :)

  • Very well done if that was actually you. And disregard when people say that you're fat. I'm a big guy, too. It comes with the range. I just tell people that I've got great breathing muscles (which is true).

  • @idkwhourandidc Thank you and yes it was me singing! :D

  • your a fat loser

  • Coming from a fool with just one video upload and one lonely subscriber I can't help but laugh at this. So, I'm a fat loser. Ok, then your a skinny loser. Whoopty freakin doo! If your going to comment on my video, please try to have make it related to the video because I do not think that my fat or my "loserness" have anything to do with this vid. Post a senseless comment like this again and I will block you. Have a nice day

    Sincerely,

    The Fat Loser.

  • First of all I would like to say that you have a magnificent voice, and don't settle for being told anything less. (corny, but true nevertheless) I myself often get scrutinized because I am so small and "no one expects that kind of voice from me". Second, I love Les Miserables and that's saying something beacuse the story itself is (literally) ten times my age (= (the story was published in 1862) all of those people who worsip singers like Bieber, Adele, etc. have no respect for REAL singing =)

  • i like this :) compared to many of the people who post their videos of this song, i actually enjoyed this. Ignore people who mock you for being large, they're probably jealous at your talent.

  • You are amazing!

  • You are so not fat, and you are so not a loser. It's rare to find a single person who actually enjoys Les Miserables (hard for me to believe) and even rarer to find a guy that would cover a les mis song on youtube, and actually do a great job. I feel bad for whoever posted that comment. Ignore them, in fact, pity them- life must be hard for the dumb and blind.

  • Quite good! I dont understand why so many guys are set on being first tenors. What's wrong with a nice, manly baritone voice???

  • i think it was awesome

  • its good just one thing , there is a tremor in the voice which will eventually age the voice, you need to aim for a smoother tone so you are not letting breath through uncontrolled.

  • that was amazing roger allam eat your heart out

  • you, my friend. have a gift

  • Absolutely fantastic; I really love this song and was actually looking for the actor who sang at the anniversary performance, but watched you out of curiosity... you have a brilliant voice and succeeded in provoking strong emotion. I do hope you get noticed.
