@arcenium028 No need to "root" your phone. Simply use the Zune software on your PC to browse the Windows Phone Apps Marketplace and download any of the free apps you like over your home internet connection. Then when you sync they'll install on your WP7.
Of course some applications aren't free, so you'll need to pay for those. It is no problem not having a credit card because Microsoft does deals with phone carriers to charge purchases to your mobile phone bill. Simple.
@arcenium028 You can get apps from the Zune software for PC. When you plug in your device it then starts a download queue for those apps/games. You can also use the built in marketplace on the phone too. Microsoft is also in the process of implementing a payment system where you can have games/apps added to your mobile phone bill. There are also loads of free apps and games on the marketplace. Hope this helped.
I'm planning to buy Windows Phone 7 (HTC Trophy), but one thing is simply "not letting" me =/
I would like to download games (Apps also) on my PC and then simply move them to my phone or .. Simply "root" the phone, and get the games from market. Is any of those two possible ?
I didn't decide yet, but I'm most likely gonna buy Trophy. Although if I can't get games / apps for free, than I might consider again HTC Desire.
Problem is that I don't have credit card (and I can't get one atm) =/
