People will always find something to complain about...Her vocals sound fine. As far as the gesturing goes...Music is ALIVE...a living thing. So as the composer of the song there's certain riffs that she wants turned up...turned down...revamped...Enjoy the music and vibe...

@mliu73 The getsturing was not at the band...It was at the sound engineers. She did that ALL nite...she was telling them to turn up the sounds on the drums, this guitar, keyboard, etc. It really took away from the performance.

My friend(a lifelong Lauryn Hill fan) who was this concert said she was terrible. Looking at this video I'd say she was right. WTF is with all that gesturing to her band? She's hardly singing at all. From the audio it sounds like the audience is singing more than she is!

I have been hoping wishing and praying for a new Lauryn Hill album! I hope to God that she puts something out by 2012! Love to collaborate with you Lauryn, lyrics, instrumentation whatever you need.
