This is a very special piece, in the renaissance style, with Ukrainian influence. The author is "Ioannes Leopolita" (Alias Roman Turovski) One day he send me an e-mail with an attachment, and those words : Try this. I try, and was pleased.

(he is also a great painter, and lute player, you can see him on Youtube as lute88 ...)
Enjoy (I can at anytime delete this video if he ask me...) (more)

  • I realized that this is your very first video. Thanks for all the music you have given us.

    Greetings from Mexico City.

  • @arkavi90

In fact I post some videos before, but deleted and replace by better recordings...

    Thanks a lot

  • You ever try electric or acoustic guitar? Also, im curious, are you a professional lute/ various stringed instruments player? I would think that many classical music concert halls etc. will hire lute players.

  • I'm not a professional ;-) And I'm only playing nylon stringed instruments, but I will try metal strings on the Orpharion one day... No classical concerts hall are not often interested by luteninst..; alas...

    Thanks for the comment.

    Val

  • Very nice. I wonder if there are lyrics to the tune.

  • Thanks for the comment. For the lyrics, ask directly to the composer : Lute88 on YT. (beware : he is a great artist)

    V. ;-)
