Yes electric can tend to be heavier as batteries are heavier than fuel. Nitro cars also get lighter as fuel is used during a race.

Nitro is better. They faster also. Well they was until that XO-1 came out! But even so, nitro is still faster out of the box. Because you have to install that high speed gear in order to even reach those speeds. Out of the box it'll do like 60. In order to even get high speeds with electric, you gotta put some lipo batteries in there and gear it up for high speeds. With nitro, you dont need to do that. If it says 70+, then it will do that. I can make my 4 tec run just as fast.

@chevguy502 you sir have smelled the fumes Way to much. Brushless is without a doubt faster, and your either trolling or dont know much about RC. I could gear my RC8Be and put it on 6s and reach near 100. If you want to race savages I would blow you away that way too..

electric is not so mutch work on just plug and drive and nitro is more work to set it of and tuning the engine conclusion by my way nitro is fore me better its not tis is better or this its the way you like it
