I remember seeing Scarecrow at the Lord Nelson, I reckon about 3 times. Journey was a cracking song!

Scarecrow at the Brecknock - my teenage years! I always thought Bill had such a great sound...

I remember Scarecrow from the pubs (Windsor castle + Breaknock and one inPaddington) great band

I saw Scarecrow hundreds of times at The Windsor Castle and The Brecknock and they were BRILLIANT!!!!
I have their album on cd-courtesy of a techno-friend and it's as good as it ever was.
Bill is fixing guitars for rock stars-google him and you'll see.
I had so many good nights watching Scarecrow and wish they'd get back together. I'd follow them again, even though I'm officially an old fart.

@fingersyeats Hi Clive, Wow! I stumbled across this via Facebook (Charlie Pritchard posted the vid, I only spoke to him a couple of months ago ). Scarecrow were the soundtrack of my misspent youth, The Windsor Castle, Thomas A' Beckett, The Brecknock, The Lord Palmerston, The Golden Lion, The Lord Nelson (Holloway Rd?) From early 1974 to about 1981 I must have gone to about 250-300 Scarecrow gigs, it was like the Scarecrow social club..lol. Anyway I'm Colin so do you remember me & Dave?

Hi Clive, I remember scarecrow from the Lord Palmeston days. I used to play guitar in a band called JAG we played there around the same time. I was also in a band with a bass guitarist named Dick who I think took over from you when you left scarecrow... Great days. Cheers, Jim.

First band I followed round the London pub scene.
I lived near the Windsor Castle pub in North Paddington.
Even bought the album.
Would like to hear it again on a cd or dvd!!!
Can that be done anyone?

Wow! Happy daze! I Googled Scarecrow on a whim today remembering many happy (Thursday?) school (!) nights at the Thomas A'Becket in the mid 70s. It must have been around '75/76 because I was an underage drinking schoolgirl and remember my Mum trying to subtly smell my breath when I got home! Great band, great memories - thanks!

Wow, hi Clive "fingers" Yeats, heard you were back from Gib ? Now there's a blast from the past. (Bill pictured holding a Strat - I can't ever recall that.)
