Ray Conniff

Ray Conniff construiu seu nome como exímio arranjador depois de trabalhar com uma série de artistas, entre eles Bob Crosby, Artie Shaw e Glen Gray. Durante a 2a Guerra Mundial, prestou serviço militar criando arranjos para as vinhetas e músicas da rádio das forças armadas e a partir de 1946, depois de um longo período dedicado ao estudo da música, foi contratado pela Columbia Records. Depois de ser arranjador e regente em discos de inúmeros artistas consagrados, Ray teve a oportunidade de gravar seu primeiro álbum em 1956. Desde então o maestro Conniff é sucesso mundial e sinônimo de orquestra de bailes.
