I've been listening to Zappa since I was 13. I like to joke that now you know what's wrong with me. But Zappa commented that it was not he that was weird. It was his fans! Quite agree, it was I that liked Zappa's humor as a 13 year old, (FYI, It was Dinah-Moe Humm) but I continue to learn things from Zappa to this day, not the least of which is musical in nature.

This particular song is —unfortunately— timeless, and gets recycled every time police riots occur. Genius!

Pure genius! Zappa was always critical of mass media. After tv news covered riots in the 1960s/1970s, the Viet Nam war, and how they "run" with negative news these days, can you blame him? Watch the movie, Network.
