  • HELP! so i had a keliod scar on my arm . had my ears pierced and i took my piercing outs and i'm feeling lumps on my ear lobes i'm hoping it's not a keloid or i'm hoping i can prevent it from getting really big and gross! so should i keep my ear ring in or leave it out ? i'm going to buy some tea tree oil online but i don't know what i should do in the mean time!

  • THEY ARE NOT KELOIDS! they are what is called a Granuloma. it's a infection that causes granulated tissue to form into a small, soft lump, it is not a keloid, a keloid is hard and does not go down in size without the use of strong steroid cream, if you have a bump on or very close to your piercing, you need to clean it with warm salty water till the swelling goes down, sometime it can happen from crap jewellery or playing with it too much in the early healing process...

  • this is an amzing tip!!!! i found a keloid and started treating it with sea salt water and hot compresses which made it worse!! i then started the tea tree which helped but not much. I then found this tip and have been doing a tea tree wash and aspirin paste whilst im home or in bed and there has been a massive improvement overnight!!!!! i no longer look like i have a second head growing out the side of my nose!! thank you sooo much. Thanks so much :)

  • @Silvereric05 Thanks for your comment! I got a piercing and I've had this bump on my cartilage for almost 2 years now. I thought nothing could get rid of it. I'm definitely going to give it a try!!

  • will lime juice work instead of lemon juice?

  • idk what to do..ive had my cheek piercings for almost a year, and theres like a ball right next to the piercing, i guess a keloid, but its INSIDE my skin like its not visible, but i can feel it .i want it to go away >:/

  • Actually it's hypertrophic scarring on peircings. Keloids can be mistaken for hypertrophic scarring easily. You see Keloids won't go away without medical injections and hypertrophic scarring will with treatment. Any paste isn't good for the scarring. You should know that though. Hydracortisone cream is the best way!
