@1235242 I'm trying to set the guides like the tutorial suggested also. I believe his were pre-set guides lines. If you want guide lines like his you have to manually set them up (goto view, select new guides and then set the position where you would like your guide lines) i know its a pain but that's the only solution i see.

it's a VERTICAL bar called a PIPE not a horizontal bar..

@grafxtv the web doesn't care about ppi, nothing is rendered in accordance to that. ppi is pixels per inch, meaning the pixel density, a monitor of 20 inches may have a ppi of 200 where a 30 inch one may be 100. PPI is also for print size/quality.
This is explained more than enough with a google search

love it
In these days of broadband internet, why not just use 300 ppi?
PineappleCrusher21 4 months ago
@PineappleCrusher21 the web only renders at 72 dpi so making it 300 dpi does not improve the quality of the image on the web. 300 dpi is used in print.

How big should this be when you go to create it
PIxels per inch
Resolution
Etc?

@austingimli I think I used 960 x 700 pixels. When you design for the web, you should always use 72 pixels/inch. Hope this helps
