@Kev3542 Yeah you did explain it in the end, my tremolo arm is just going freely around, i just found a new cool way to make some effects as i play heavy metal, when trem arm is loose i just make it swing and it makes a bit of that 'vibration' if you listen carefully you will notice the changes in pitch ^^ thanks for fast answer !

Thanks. It's a 1991Fender Strat Plus De Luxe (with no modifications).

How do you put that tremolo in place?

@Fafarona94
How do you mean? In terms of the position of the arm, or the block? Or the tuning? I basically keep the unit floating (so that it can raise and lower the pitch). The arm is held in place by placing a piece of plastic foam at the bottom of the hole the arm goes into - the upward pressure against the thread provides enough resistance to hold it in place.

No problem - although I've found an even better solution. There's a guy on eBay (at least in the UK) selling tiny tremolo arm springs that sit at the bottom of the tremolo arm hole - just try searching for "tremolo arm spring". They're excellent. I had to use a drill bit to remove the piece of plastic foam from the hole first.

heywhat mods do you have on that strat?

@roccckkerrr
It's actually a completely standard 1991 Fender Strat Plus De Luxe - it came like this straight from the factory. Its pickups are Fender-Lace Sensors (red in the bridge, silver in the middle, blue for the neck).The trem system consists of an old style Wilkinson roller nut, locking machine heads and a dual pivot bridge. It's also got a fancy device in the trem cavity that allows strings to be bent without the bridge being pulled forward - great for playing double stop bends.
