What are you talking about? It is a different system! It has nothing to do with the Kamov system! The fact that it has a tail propeller doesn't make it necessarily less reliable or more expensive!

The Bell 533 flew at first 250 mph in 1960 until in 1969 it flew at 316mph at top speed.
They retired in late 1969.

Its true Kevin Bredenbeck flew this at 290mph in level flight on 15th of September 2010 but it was not being officially recorded for a record by an independent body, it was to test durability of design.

The rotor head bears NO resemblance to that of ANY Kamov helicopter. Not only is it rigid rotor the linkages are internal. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!
PS: Read a book.

If you do the conversion, this chopper cruises at almost 290 mph and so far, has a top speed of 310 mph. A bit quicker than the XH-51A and it doesn't need a tail rotor in addition to the propellor. Also the XH-51 had to have fairly substantial stub wings because the trailing rotor blades lose lift at those kid of speeds, whereas the counterrotating blades make up for that quite a bit.

Isn't this simply a converted Gyrodyne? :D

Kamov coaxial system with tail propeller. Tail prop only makes it more complicated (much more expensive and less reliable)

What a strange post - just one of your idiot errors - the Concorde has nothing to do with the Americans. It was an Anglo-French enterprise... Get your facts straight before posting!
