I can shower my dog with hot or cold water ... but, she'll cry and squirm even more than this, so I always end up getting the shower instead.

he's singing

What is it with big dogs being such babies about getting baths? I could see little dogs freaking out because they think they might drown, but I hear about all these little dogs being fine with baths. I have had two Akitas and they are even worse about bathing than this husky. :/

The temp of the water has nothing to do with it. My sib jumps into streams with frost at the edge. Sib's love water, but only if it's their idea.

hose is not any colder than letting your dog jump in a lake or the ocean. My husky is the same way shes flips if the waters cold but loves warm baths and my lab freaks in warm water but thinks the hose is the best thing ever made

strange...mine LOVES water. Including baths. Huskies are generally very vocal. And they let you know when they don't want to do something!

Husky owners: "Awww cute little drama queen."
Non-husky owners: "People like you who torture animals know nothing about dogs and should not be allowed to own pets."

He's only crying because the tap water is too cold... my husky does the same thing when we bathe him with the hose but he doesn't make a sound when we use warm water in a bucket.
