Great review man.
I don't buy expensive cameras because I tend to drop them alot. I've had great luck with cannons. My last Cannon lasted a year and I must of dropped it 20 times. I finally broke it because I dropped it while the lense was out =(
Thed tend to pick up gunfire sounds decently. Sony Fine Pix I wont go to those ever again.
