The legendary Australian rock band Cold Chisel reunited on Saturday 5th of December 2009 for a one off concert as part of the new v8 supercar event at Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush.

With a new concert tour on the way I thought I better respond to the couple of negative comments. The sound quality in the vid is just my basic camera.

As the person who captured the video 3 rows from the front I can assure you that the sounds was great. Barnsey and Ian Moss were really sharp. I reckon that anyone who was actually there would agree.

I saw them last night, they were so amazing! I assure anyone who thinks that they're crap due to this video, it's just bad footage. :)

@MrJholland Thats hilarious an avid fan defending them when clearly they sound like shit... & I dont need to go to see them live to hear that this sounds shocking.... Barnesy is past his used by date & the reason you thought it sounded great when you were there was because you couldnt hear the performance over the noise.... Bands that use Extreme volume are simply compensating for the fact they dont sound as good as they do in a studio... Manly Vale shows how good they were in their day.. :)

@paulocean Mate i was at this concert and it was a great show n barnesy never went into retirement... they are still as good as ever this just doesnt sound good as its filmed in the crowd! do ya self a favour go see them then say that

cold chisel still haven't lost a fucken thing i just hope they perform one day in my home state of SA as i was very envious of NSW for having them perform there
