Mister Crazy Legs, I am sorry that you lost your brother and sister on 911. It's so hard to think the people we played with as kids, ate meals with, shared our lives with, are gone now. My brother died of alcohol and drug addiction ten years ago at age 43, and now my sister is 43, and she's dying of the same thing. I fucking hate it. What happened to those days we didn't know about any of this? I'm glad "Sailing" gives you comfort. All I wish for all of them and all of us is peace.

Though Christopher Cross made his debut with this song in 1979, I vividly remember when I first heard it while in my early 20's living in the state of Washington in 1981 while traveling to Puget Sound on the coast of Washington on 109. The beaches were beautiful back then and this song coincided perfectly with the scenery.

I love this song, and the video scenes are so delightfully in sync with the Serenity. Thanks so much for posting this!

@locutys That's pretty cool. I was 17 in 1980. I grew up in down town Los Angeles. My father was a homicide detective for the down town Rampart station. What a small world we live in. This song reminds me of boot camp and the fact I actually made it. SAILING is a song that was far ahead of it's time. Have a good one locutys. Sincerely, Sgt. Ronald J. Campbell USA ret.
