@seektheforce THANK YOU I had. noticed the pp on celeste aida, long after I wrote this. But what about the lisping in corelli's pronunciation? Did he have a speech problem? or was it the low larynx intereing ?

Thaks to all of you for the comments! He is one of my favorit tenors. Sobinov (like Shaliapin or Nelepp)sings using the classical Italian techniqe (low larenx,full respiration, very clear articulation) with a very Russian musical performence, and I think it sounds wonderfull.
