that was a huge one-man work for its time. discreet was exposing the clip in their sites . it was 2004 as far as i ve known . test rigs were awesome and far beyond of 3dsmax 4/5 versions . i appreciate his courage . good luck with "The Normals"

With this hardware and 3ds max cannot make this animation. and addition your computer must have min. 128MB graphic and minimum 1.4GHz CPU for use 3ds Max in your computer. Either is your hardware fake or this animation. 32MB GeForce cannot have this graphic...Fake?

@Rypomaser Yes, the hardware stated is correct. I was using Windows NT and 3DS Max 3, which both used far less resources than future versions. My limitations, of course, were the lack of Displacement maps, Sub-Surface Scattering, Global Illumination, high density models, and real-time playback.
