New Labour were always going to be tory with a small t although they were less xenophobic and elitist than the real Tory's, they even pay homage to that old witch Thatcher.

People have to vote though or spoil their ballots to get the message across and keep the BNP and conservatives out, unfortunately i have to do this because our voting system is crap and tends to favour the right wing and establishment.

How do you deal with the other kind of political apathy - 'I always voted at my party's call'? A performing monkey or even Gary Glitter or OJ Simpson would get elected in Barnsley if he stood for Labour - because people there ALWAYS vote Labour, even though they don't support the party's policies and don't know the candidates - usually up and coming career politicians 'parachuted' into the known safe seat. A recipe for eternal mistrust on all sides.

Sounds like here in the U.S. - our Democrats are now acting like watered down Repugs. Goes to show that it doesn't matter which side you choose, we're all heading to the same destination. Better do as the N. Africans and Middle East are doing, revolt and remove all of these ghastly financial losers! Start with a new system that works. If you know anything about Capitalism, you'll know that it cannot work by it's very nature. We need new leadership, just as you do!

we can tweak the minor principles when they're in power, because whoever gets in will have to bend to market forces.

At least this way, the PRIORITY will be in the right place.

And don't worry about them not getting in, there's no guarantee that whoever you pick will get in.

What this cretin does not understand is, that we live in a democracy, which means that the greens stand no chance! If you vote tory then the green agenda is out the window!
