everyone tried to mimic Strawberrys swing growing up. Its truly one of the sweetest of all time.

I've been watching baseball since the mid 70's. He is one of the only guys that I stopped doing whatever it was to see him at bat. Even his strikeouts were exciting. I mean he hit some shots!! I don't think all of them have even landed yet.

Wonder if David Cone will ever write about the episode when he came back to a hotel after doing an interview to find Strawberry and Gooden double-teaming his girlfriend.

Wow what might have been had Doc and Daryl avoided drugs or injuries or both. Still love them both though. Crazy but for all the time they both threw away both are boderline hall of famers.
