  • I like how it showcases a difference in styles. Like how the lengthy character is animated more cartoony than the others. I really like the panda character. They did a good job. The walk cycle is still one of those I have the most trouble getting the hang of.

    It was a fun class. I think those girls will all turn out to be great animators. Walk cycles are the most challenging aspects of animation. Timing, personality, weight, attitude, balance, and so much more! Have you seen Richard Williams' animated intro to his video series?

    I did actually, in my class just this semester we watched a bunch of clips from his dvd set. I have the Animator's Survival Kit book, but I would love to get the dvd set if it wasn't so expensive!
