@Evie1208 you sure are very opinionated...the title is LEARNING to make the masa, not jump in without knowing what your doing and messing things up. The salt to masa ratio was pretty perfect in my own opinion, the taste was perfect. Thanks for taking the time to sit around and comment on my video though, I appreciate it.

imma make my first pasteles for the first time just trying to keep the tradition going for the new generation in todays world....my daughters are in thier late teens and are so happy that they gonna participate with me....and this video was very helpful and easy to understand. gotta keep it going or our traditions in cooking will die out...thanks for the video

omg!!!! awsome video.....reminds me so much of my grandmother,may she rest in peace....i wish i had payed more attention to what she was doing in the kitchen....my mother is no help at all...shes lazy...lol

Can you please tell me where I can get the grinding machine that your mom uses to grind all the vegetables? Is it available on amazon? It looks like it would make the process of making pasteles a little easier.... Thanks

Wow I have to say that I make Pasteles also and she really used a lot of salt in that mix, I assume that there is no one with high blood pressure there.

Wow q Rico se ven la masa la vi media blandita pero se q se forman lo ms bien espues d cosidos. Muy Buen trabajo. Anoche mami y yo pelamos los guineos e hicimos la mas con la makina q hizo papi en su trabajo hace años super buena pero un poco grande jeje luego hicimos la carne. y hoy preparamos los pasteles. nos quedaron ricos gracias a Dios. nos salieron 31 pastel. dl tamaño de los de usted. No hiciemos muchos poque solo somos nosotros tres. Bueno Felices Fiestas.
