After giving the new adidas adiPURE IV boots the SoccerBible Lab treatment, we can confirm that the new adiPURE's are in fact 35g lighter than its predecessor, weighing in at a mere 280g (FG)!

The most striking change on the redesigned K-leather upper is the repositioning of one of the famous three stripes from the rear to the front of the boot. This subtle shifting of the stripe only enhances the classic retro-look giving the adiPURE IV added authenticity.
The adiPURE IV football boots revert back to the symmetrical construction and central lacing last seen on the original Pure but this time with a shorter K-leather vamp for a great performance fit and fantastic ball feel.
With 'OneTouch' construction the supple K-leather vamp is softer, more breathable and lighter than ever before for a fantastic fit and the ultimate first touch. The new stitching pattern on the vamp supports the natural stretch of the K-Leather for the best fit possible yet retains consistent properties in wet and dry conditions so performance is permanent whatever the weather.
With less water uptake than ever before, the ultra soft and lightweight K-Leather vamp and the ULT-K leather in the heel area remain light and comfortable for the duration of your game, even on the wettest and muddiest of pitches!
To help reduce the risk of injury and the stress on the Achilles tendon the adiPURE's internal heel stabilizer offers maximum stability and protection while the shallow external heel counter found on the adiPURE III is retained on the latest incarnation.
Renowned for it's comfort, the latest adiPURE boots do not disappoint with a super soft padded collar and lining and an ergonomically pre-moulded EVA sock liner with extra cushioning inserts in the heel for additional comfort and shock absorption. For a secure and snug fit the lining incorporates an anti-slip finish.
