look at Monique in the background in her gold dress, so dignified and humble, and i feel she should have gotten THE AWARD OSCAR, i have so much respect for her, never before as a commedian, thought she was just ranchy, as an actress i love her and respect her, we are giving so much to Precious, understandibly so but MONIQUE character was the true acting, dynamic

If you have not seen this movie please consider viewing. This movie was so moving and powerful. I will admit that it is difficult to watch but watching Precious go through this very difficult journey and seeing some hope at the end is truly amazing. This story crosses all color lines and socioeconomic lines. Precious could be your sister, neighbor, friend, yourself. Truly, truly MOVING.
