I was a total rocker in the 80's, but the first time I heard Gail Davies and this song, I was totally hooked. This song was so well written and the chorus is a major hook. She should have been #1 that year as best female artist. Awesome song, Awesome voice, and such a true chorus that I'm sure we all have felt, "The Jagged Edge of a Broken Heart! "

I've just replaced all of my Gail Davies Vinyl with CDs... I'm loving having her playing in my car! It's exciting to see so many of her songs out here - for so long there was nothing. This song blew me away when it came out in '84.
