The Micro Jig GRR-Ripper is serious about safety. When you need to do close work on a tablesaw, router, jointer or bandsaw, turn to the GRR-Ripper to grip, hold and feed both sides of small workpieces, and stay as safe as possible.

@Aharndts We are not suggesting people go a remove the blade guard...but unfortunately there's millions of saw out there with out a decent blade guard or splitter. We made this product to help those who don't have the right gear to keep digits attached and kickback at bay. Thanks for voicing your concerns and keeping us in check.

@Aharndts I customized my splitter by cutting it down approximately 1/8th below the top of the blade teeth. I never have to remove it even when cutting a partial kerf into the wood. It works great with the GRR-Ripper.

It's a great idea and excellent design. Been doing reproduction furnture for 20 years and this really works. Bought two for a good price from "Peach Tree Woodworking". Nice video.

Um so if I want to get dangerous and remove the blade guard. I should get a grr ripper?

One of the best wood-shop accessories I have ever purchased. I cut some double angled staves with the bevels against the saw fence. The GRR-Rper made the cuts with incredible precision, without burns, blade gouges, or kick-back. I love this thing! I had some hesitation because of the price, but it is well worth it.
