The RED of the Alternator I had cleaned up years ago doesn't match anything on the Car so today I split open TWO of them and built one new unit from the parts.. after sand-blasting all the aluminum bare I painted it in a more relative color to the Theme.. -Rob

  • @bcrawdad1 - YEP! - It's hard not to make things "pretty" when your looking at a glob of grease and you want to restore it.. How do you do it without cleaning it?? - I can imagine how many guys start out building a Ratrod and end up with a Billet Trailer Queen..

  • i like it and i know what your going for with the taking the chrome off but with the breather it would look good i think but thats the beauty of it its your huh ;)
